Service Desk 5.10 SP2: Using Custom Fields in DB rules

Hi,
I am using OVSD 5.10 SP2. I have created certain custom fields (of type date) for service calls. When I create a DB rule with update data/alert action and try to use these fields, I am not able to see these custom fields. But these fields are definitely available in forms & elsewhere (like advanced find).
Any idea whether this is a limitation or bug or some missing configration??

I faced the same problem before, its solved after ovc -restart .

Thanks for reply.
Even after restrating service custom fields are not visible in db rules.
