Service Call icon not being displayed

Hello,
I am trying to figure out why I can't see the Service call icon on my shortcut bar. It has full access in the role in which that account has access to. Can you help ?

Re: Service Call icon not being displayed

Hi,

Your shortcut bar might have been corrupted.

If shortcut bar is displying properly in any of the machine you can copy to your PC.

C:\Documents and Settings\administrator.HPPC4\Application Data\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\Service Desk\

By default "ShortcutBar" file will be stored in the above mentioned directory

Re: Service Call icon not being displayed

Try right clicking the "service desk" header and choose the reset option to regain default values.
Or renaming the C:\Documents and Settings\administrator.HPPC4\Application Data\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\Service Desk\
to Old service desk and see if it's a corrupt profile.
Failing that, try recreating a new role based on your existing one in case it's the role that's corrupted.

Re: Service Call icon not being displayed

I think this can also be caused if the role has no forms or no views defined for Service Calls.
