Re: Selecting a default value for the Code Item

Hello,

I don't think that you can do it. What you can do is either to use template that have the value as default or use "limit field range" and have the value you want as the only option. Then with another ui rule when the field have the specified option, re-limit field range for the same field, this time have all values available.

Re: Selecting a default value for the Code Item

Hi Goerge,
What i wanna do is this that
i made a code item name SPORTS and added these values in it.

FOOTBALL
HOCKEY
TENNIS
CRICKET

Now i want FOOTBALL to be the already selected value.
It's done somehow with the other code items mentioned in my form.

Re: Selecting a default value for the Code Item

This must be done through templates. Code field, like any field, is empty initialy (unless it is specified in a template).

Modify your service call templates to have "Football" as default value on new items.
