Script?

I am wondering if anyone knows how to write a script to do the following in service desk.

Every 24 hours Change Pending Status service calls that have been in that status for 14 days to closed.

We have a DB rule that runs a scheduled task on service calls that are modified and 14 days after actual finish they change from pending closure to closed, but we now have more than 8000 scheduled tasks. Any help would be great.

Re: Script?

HI
If you op system Unix - use cron, if MS - schedule. set in schedule your script and run every 24 h. The script must compare date when set status "Change Pending " with current, if diffence more then 14 d. set status "Close". For comparetion need use datetime filed from item, activate one field from Custom field and fill this field by rule when status become is "Change Pending".
