SP4.5 SP17 Changing hostname and IP

I have a new install of SD4.5 SP17 and I need to change the hostname and IP address of the server. Does the SD application contain any embedded references to the origional hostname or IP?

I know that the scheduled tasks are set for a specific server name (or IP, depending on how the server was configured) and port. You may need to run the "Reschedule tasks" function in the actions menu in order to move those tasks to the new server.

I'm not sure how well the rescheduled tasks functionality works. You may want to perform a test before executing the change to your production Service Desk environment.
