SP21 Strange Error

Hi,

We are running servicedesk SP21 system with Oracle 9.2.0.5 on win2003.We have following strange error in logserver.txt:

"The date you have typed is invalid. Please type a date using the date format set under your user options, or use the field's calendar, or use a single number preceded by a minus sign for a number of days back, or use +, -. For example: Short Date, Medium Time (18.05.2007 00:09)
while processing attribute time"

This error is seen many lines on log file.

How can we solve this problem ?

Thanks,

Re: SP21 Strange Error

I'm guessing here but do you perhaps have an old DB Rule which is setting a Date and Time field to just a date value? Earlier SP may have been more relaxed about this validation.

Re: SP21 Strange Error

Hi fellows,
The versio SP23 was installed a few hours and Im gettin the same error.
I couldnt discover a DB rule causing this problem.

"Please type a date using the date format set under your user options"
What OS locale do you use? May be try to set to English (UK or USA) or manually specify date and time format in regional settings so that it look like SD shows it.

Re: SP21 Strange Error

Hi,
Somewhat similar bugs are resolved in Sp22. Please check ITSM008899. Upgrading to SP22 might resolve issue reported by you.

Re: SP21 Strange Error

Hi folks,
As I wrote above Im running the SP23. I guess the error is not fixed by SP22 or its another problem, agree?
I tried to use several formats , changing my profile options but the error is occurring yet.
I have a case opened in HP.
