SP1 on version 5: "Enable for High Volume Tranactions"

Hi everyone,

I notice that the final screen for creating a DB rule now has a third checkbox called "Enable for High Volume Tranactions".

I have looked in the help and the manuals but can find nothing about this. Does anyone know what it means?

Regards

Ruth

Re: SP1 on version 5: "Enable for High Volume Tranactions"

Hi Ruth,

I think is a way to minimize / block the rules depending on the transactions the SD server receives and handles from its clients, because as you know very well the rules can add to the workload of the application server.
Try to test taking into account View Transaction details from Server Monitor Performance tab.

Re: SP1 on version 5: "Enable for High Volume Tranactions"

How interesting. I wonder if it refers to data exchange? We decided to skip Sp1 because of a couple of issues so will have to wait until SP2 I guess to see this.
This seems to continue HP's practice of introducing secret new features.
