SD5.1 email problem

Hi,

I have SD5.1 patch2 installed on windows 2003 server. I did the following configuration for the email setting
Email server: 192.168.15.51
SMTP port: 25
From address : person1@comany.com
From Alias hpovsd
Reply to: person1@comany.com
Character set:
I did use the base 64 encoding

I tried to use the ISO 8859-1 character set, i tried to change the ip by the full name of the email server, the person1 working normaly
i am getting the error 550 No such user here
outside this senario i tested many email and this person is getting all of them, this user exists and is receiving and sending emails
Please find attched the log error that am having

Is name resolution working fine on your Service Desk server?

Hi,

the email address syntax is correct in SD the same one used by that user

If you have a CLI email client can you confirm you dont get the same issue. Use someting like blat for example.

Hi,

How You define inbound address in SD? "person1" or "person1@company.com"? If "person1@company.com" it is wrong, should be "person1".
