SD5.0 - NNM data import

I am trying to import from my NNM 7.5. ODBC tests fine. I think my .ini and .xml files are good. I used ovobsmodim to import SD_nnm_integration.xml and external_event.xml.
I set up a DE task using the SD_nnm_int..xml file and the newly created nnm_import mapping.
I start the task and it opens the window, but doesn't do anything. It appears stuck on the "Please wait... Connecting to Server...".

When I cancel, I get an error code, ending with:

Exited code: -1
Output:The file provided is
not a valid CIM file for Data Exchange. Unexpected
root element 'ACES' was found

Thanks in advance

Re: SD5.0 - NNM data import

Also, does anyone have a working example of the nnm.ini file for SQL with working ODBC connection instead of JDBC? I think that might be my issue, but support is escalating.

Thanks

Re: SD5.0 - NNM data import

OK. I've successfully connected to the NNM SQL server.

At this point, I need to get an example of the syntax for the .INI file.

If I take the Oracle example and get rid of the "logic" part, I am left with:
[NETWORK]
SOURCE=[NNM_NETWORKS],
[NNM_OBJECTS]
ATT=[SEARCHCODE],
[NAME],
[INTERFACE_COUNT],
[NNM_ID]
COLUMNS=[NNM_OBJECTS].[OVW_ID] AS [SEARCHCODE],
[NNM_NETWORKS].[IP_NETWORK_NAME] AS [NAME],
[NNM_NETWORKS].[TOPM_INTERFACE_CNT] AS [INTERFACE_COUNT],
[NNM_OBJECTS].[OVW_ID] AS [NNM_ID]
CONDITION=[NNM_NETWORKS].[TOPO_ID]=[NNM_OBJECTS].[TOPO_ID]

I get a SQL error returned that basically says error at FROM:
SELECT FROM "NNM_NETWORKS"

Anyone have any ideas?
HP says they don't provide SQL ini examples... I can't be the only one using SQL Server!

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Re: SD5.0 - NNM data import

It is not a trival job to convert the Oracle ini file supplied by HP to MS SQL which does not recognise SUBSTR, CONCAT, DECODE, etc... I've finally made it work with the one attached.
Expect some errors during the import. But they can easily be fixed by editing the import mapping.
