SD4.5 email blocking/allowing

Hi,

We have a production environment that has both inbound (new SP registration) and outbound (notifications) emails implemented.

We also have a test environment, on which we have all emails disabled (by clearing out the e-mail server line in the email general settings).

We'd like now to test one thing for which we'd need to enable the inbound mails, but still keep the outbound mails disabled on the testing environment. Is something like that possible? By disabling I'm speaking about some general setting, not disabling the particular notification db rules on a one-by-one basis.

Outbound and Inbound emails work separately.

By doing this:

You disabled the outbound email part, but inbound emails should still working.

Remind: You must use a different email address to send your mail to so it reaches the 'test' machine rather than the 'production' server.
