Re: SD 5.0 installation

yes.

I am trying to install it remotely.
I have disabled the use of temporary folders per session for both machines.(or which machine's terminal services config should i change?)
Yet, im still getting the same error.
Please help.

Thank you very much.

Re: SD 5.0 installation

Try copying the media onto the harddisk and install directly. This has fixed the problem for a lot of people who uses terminal services.
I know installation can work via terminal services but direct install seems to work more often.

Re: SD 5.0 installation

Install directly. Don't use terminal services. Install at the server.

Re: SD 5.0 installation

Hi,

looks like it can't install the demo data which would indicate that there is a problem writing the demo data to the database. When I encountered this I had the database up and accessable (could access SQL database through command line) but I didn't specify the correct database credentials during the setup so it could not write the demo data.

Re: SD 5.0 installation

It's installed successfully as I created a new database account during installation.
