SD 4.5 federation to uCMDB

Hi, anyone know if there is a possibility of using a federation between SD4.5 and uCMDB? I could not find any of this information and I need to link these two systems.
Thanks

Re: SD 4.5 federation to uCMDB

Which direction? From SD to uCMDB? That should be quite easy as uCMDB allows to federate external data (RTFM). The other way around? That's trickier - we've recently built an engine for that. But out of the box - use Data Exchange...

I need to set in uCMDB Federation to SD so that it can be used in uCMDB data requirements SC, IN, PR, and others. I do not know if this is done with external data federation.

I still do not understand. Do you need to:

A) see SD data in uCMDB

B) see uCMDB data in SD

Which one is what you want?

Re: SD 4.5 federation to uCMDB

OK then. That is what uCMDB supports - just read the documentation on how this works and what needs to be done. You will need to target SD's database.

Thank you for confirming that it is possible.
Do you know if someone has already tried to set up?

Re: SD 4.5 federation to uCMDB

No. It would only makes sense if you wanted to use such data in a process tool (SM7?) that uses uCMDB as it's CMDB.

Vice-versa makes more sense as you could use federated CIs in processes. That's however not possible.
