SD 4.0 SP4 Client Upgrade ?

After Upgrading from SD4 SP1 to SD4 SP4 on Microsoft 2000 platform. Remote Clients can no longer connect quoting "file:\\yourhost\ClientUpgrade\HPOpenViewserviceDesk.exe"
I can't find an upgraded client ? nor can my local machine get to the server?? yourhost???

Hi.

Just run service pack 4 setup on one client. Then login to SD and fix your problem :-)

It is incorrect link file:\\yourhost\ClientUpgrade\HPOpenViewserviceDesk.exe
may be i do not understand your question but you should set correct url and share folder with HPOpenViewserviceDesk.exe

Hi!
You need to fix the SP4 installation URL in adm. console -> System Panel -> General Settings that appears when client has incorrect SP version.

I am facing the same error message when i start my client.
I am using SD4.5, may I know how to check which service pack I am using?
Shall I log on to application server to configure the client account before I can configure my client machine?

Hi,

run sd_version.bat from the following locaion of the instal drive to find out what version and SP is on the system

C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\service desk 4.5\client\bin

Check the general tab in Admin console as the previous thread mentioned.
