Roles for making new CI Category in SD4.5

Hi all,

I have some problems with the roling the persons for making category in CMDB. It seems like only Sys Admins can make those categories, and I dont want to give such privilegies to everyone who have the need to create Category in CMDB. What role should I give to those persons?

Hi,

you will need to someone someone admin rights to create categories. However you could give this access to say one person and then if anyone wants a category they inform the person with the rights and the category is created.
