Role for views

Role for views

Hi All,

I have created a new role which is role for views with view only rights.

when i right click on service call i am able to create new servicecall but this is not happening on ohter items like incident, change etc.....
Please help in disabling the new service call.

Hi,

can you attach a screenshot please of the roel settings.

Also check the following:

In the role select Service Call then Details
Under the access tab make sure that "New" is not checked.

When you are in roles and you click details it gives you info about access to the History Lines, to check the privilages for the Service Call module you need to expand within the role(see attached as its hard to describe).

Narendra,

Make sure that only "view" is checked for the Service Call under the role privilages.

Role-ServiceCall-Access = View, modify, new and remove rights
Role-ServiceCall-History line = similar access but for service calls

You can also set this individually at the folder level if you have not explicitly set View, New and Modify at the root level.
