Relating Support Request to Change via Smart Action

I need to be able to automatically via Smart Action relate a Support Request to a Change Request when a number field on a Change Request has any value (This is the field the user will put in the SR number. Is there a way to take that SR number or a text field with a valid SR number on the Change form and automatically relate it to the Change Request via sd_dataform or sd_event? I was lookinf for some help on the format to use in the smart action.

Re: Relating Support Request to Change via Smart Action

Hello Rory,

It can be done, either using sd_event or sd_dataform. The pro of sd_event is that it doesn't require any input from the user. With sd_event user at least must press "OK".

For more about relations and sd_dataform have a look at http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=808712
