Reading Service Desk Raw Data in Database (MS-SQL)

Dear All,

I would like to create simple code in my company web portal to gather information from sd database to show the "status" of servicecall.

We will ask servicecall id, then show the requestor the status or any other important field.

I looked for sd_servicecall table and found many fields storing the information of servicecall. but I only see numbers there and cannot figure out the status or other information about the servicecall.

Can anyone help me, maybe you have done this before or point me to the guide about SD5.1 database.

I'm using SD 5.0 and MS-SQL2000.

Thanks in advance :D,
Eric

Re: Reading Service Desk Raw Data in Database (MS-SQL)

Hi Eric,

You could generate DB views (System Settings>Report Settings) and then use SQL to use the DB views rather than the raw tables - this should be simpler. You could look at these using MS-SQL2000 enterprise Manager and so see how they might look.

Hope this helps
