Quick Call Button

Hi Experts,

We would like to add a quick call button for when users call into our helpdesk and ask for a telephone number or things like general directions. We need assistance with the button object and how to open up the SD.open.interaction from it. When this button is clicked the SD.open.interaction must auto populate with certain values like categories, assignment groups We have tried looking at any special conditions in the forms designer but come up with nothing. Also tried looking at display options. Please assist.

Hi,

I think you want to look at using "templates" which will allow the user to select a predefined template which has the values for the fields pre determined and when the template is selected these fields get populated with the values.

I have applied a template and it works perfectly, what i now need to do is put a button on the sd.open form which would open a new form which uses the template. Any suggestions on how to create the button

Templates was the way to go
