Does this happen on all clients or just one? The icons are typically held in "C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\service desk 4.5\client\images" and so the first thing to check is the access to that folder.
Hi, besides the above, if you don't want to regedit it, you may go to Tools- Folder Options- Files Types in Win Explorer and look up ICO extension. Try to play around with it, for example, associate a picture viewer which is installed on the pc, or try to restore original settings. If you don't have company-specific icons which should be displayed (which anyway should be placed where Ruth has written), this should do the trick, it did for me 98%. Re, Judit
