Hi Harini,

try this:

1) Stop AppServer
2) Delete the cache on the application server. Cache directory is found under
"C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\service desk 4.5\server\cache"
3) Start the AppServer to see whether it starts without any error.

Thanks a ton for the immediate reply.

I have done as advised by you. I hv checked the log file now and found no errors. I am attaching the same for you. Pls check and let me know if its ok now.

the Logs shows all normal. is the application server up and running fine after deleting the cache?

Today I have checked the log files and found some errors. Pls check and advise.

to me the error looks very strange and unable to think of any possible cause.

Hi Harini

The problem is not with the App Server there is voilation in the policy. Check your open/close option policy.
