Possible to cc: and bcc: in DBRule / Send E-mail message?

Hi all!

Just wanted to know if anyone has a clever solution to this. We have a rule that sends e-mail message to Workgroup responsible person, assignee and Incident manager when service call deadline is about to expire.

I am unable to use cc: and bcc: in the "Send to" field. Is it somehow possible?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael,

To my knowledge you can't use "CC:" and "BCC:" from send mail of DB rule. To use "CC:" and "BCC:" you must use the E-Mail Service Call item (SP19 and greater).

hi!

Some time back, i used an external application (an SMTP tool, in a .BAT file) and called it in the DB rule. I was able to send CC. I never tried BCC, but i think it should be possible
