Person field


I am working on service desk 4.5 with SP 15 installed.

I am using the both the available person fields for Configuration Items. The person field from the custom fields is working fine. I could select and search a person and associate with the CI.

But the person field(which has the key 'AdminPerson') is not allowing me to associate any Person with the CI. It does not also return any person while using advance find.

Please let me know what might be the cause of this behaviour.

I think that the admin person has to be a member of the administrator workgroup for CI. These two fields (admin person and admin workgroup) are paired like the assigned to person and assigned to workgroup.
