I was playing around with Service Pages in SD 5.1 SP1 and ran into an issue. It seems as if a Person record has multiple email accounts and wants to create a new SP account for themselves, the email will only be found if it's the primary.
On top of that, once I made the email address the primary I get the error "You are not eligible for Service Pages. Your email address is not accepted."
Has anyone else found this and found a way around it (out of the box)?
Thanks Ruth, I had the IP rather than the name there, so that solved the trick.
Now when I click OK to create the account, I get the following error: "Error - an exception was thrown trying to request login. Exception details - For person the following fields are required:". The account is being created (I can see it in the system panel), but the account details are not being emailed through.
When an account is set up for Service Pages, the system attempts to link it to the Person record and it would seem that there msut be a required field on a Person record which was not set so that when the system tried to save the Person record, it failed.
I think you need to look and see what required (mandatory) fields are set for Person records and either put in that field for every person or stop it being required.
