OVSD 4.5 Server Issue

Hi,

I work for Vocalink as administrator for OVSD version 4.5 sp 23.

We have recently switched our service from production to our diaster recovery environment. A week after the change was made our server crashed twice. I had to stop/start the service to bring the application back online. This worked both times but I'm struggling to understand the error. I have attached the error messages from the log for your information. Thanks

Hello,

OutOfMemory errors indicate that system ran out of memory and normally this causes application to crash.

Have you tuned JVM usage in your server according to this document?

I've tried accessing the link as requested but when I do I screen is returned saying unable to access the page even when I submit my SAID. Any ideas?

Hi John,

the content of that article is basically how to tune JVM in the server, the same details can be found int he SD4.5 Installation Guide, chapter 3, section "Optimizing the Memory Settings"
