OVSD 4.5 SP20 (HPUX)

Hello,

We have the "Status" field in our Service Call defined for the following values :

Registered
In Progress
On Hold
Completed
Closed

We also have the Approval tab added into the Service Call form. The requirement is to automatically set the Status field to "Closed" if the request is Rejected. We were able to capture the Result into a custom field, however, while writing a DB rule we are unable to update the status to "Closed". Please advice if there is any way to achieve this requirement. Thanks

Hello Kashif,

You probably have some required fields for the status closed which your db rule doesn't update.

Open Administrator Console, go to security/preventation/required fields and double clock to open service call. From the form there find what fields are required for the status closed. These fields should also be updated on your DB rule.
