OVSD 4.5 Local Server Log Size

Hello,
We have OVSD 4.5 SP20. Our server log file is growing way to fast (100+MB per day), so we constantly need to re-start our server to change out the file. There are no errors in the file, but it appears that the system is writing out every DB rule condition that is evaluated. I have to be believe that it is possible to turn this off, but as I am somewhat new to this application, I am unaware how to do so. Can anyone help me to control (turn off), the full conditional text of each rule that is evaluated?

Thanks.

Re: OVSD 4.5 Local Server Log Size

Hi Adam,

Go to Tools>System?System Panel>General settings and ensure the "Rule Manager Debug" box is clear.

You may need to restart the service for thsi to take effect,

Hope this helps, Ruth

PS I have attached a DOS batch file which can help if you run it as a Windows scheduled task
