Thanks for the response, the requirement is to basically export an attachment (any type, such as excel, word etc.) from a service call and to import the attachment into another application. The import procedure/steps will be taken care by the respective application teams.Hope this helps
As you will know the attachment in a case are not saved 1on1 to the folder with the case ID.
There is absolutely no structure in the way that service desk saves the attachments in the defined folder. For that reason it's not possible to export the attachments to another location/program. Even not with a third party program (although not all programs are tested).
I think you need to find another way to accomplish your plans.
