Next Action Date in OVSD

Next Action Date in OVSD

I am a project manager on a large account using OVSD for ticket management. We have been using the Next Action Date for certain tickets to base an SLA off of. However, we are finding that in certain circumstances that date get removed by the system. We have not been able to figure out what causes the date to stay versus what causes it to be removed. Does any have any suggestions on where I learn more about this date? The manual I have does not give much information. Thanks.

Maybe you should look in the administrator console (tools --> system) in "Business Logic", to the "database rules" and "UI Rules".

There can be defined that the field is being emptied when a defined action is executed. Can you please check if this is configured here?
