Hi Akhil,

Thanks for your reply !

I have nearly 50 values in the drop down list, so can't use check boxes as an option.
Please let me know if any other options are available.

Thanks,

Re: Multiple selection in Drop Down option

Hi Nagu,

This cannot be done in SD version 5. Can you explain why you want to do it because there might be a different way of handling him.

Hi Ruth,

Thanks for your help.

I have nearly 100 regions (Locations) in the drop down list as a value. If multiple regions are effected, than i have to select multiple regions in the drop down list.
This is my requirement. If any alternative is available please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help "Ruth"

Re: Multiple selection in Drop Down option

Group these 100 regions in bigger groups per 10 in each group. Use geographical principle.
you can also group these 10 in one more level.

we have 4 level groping
Branch - long list
Region - group of braches
Country - all branches in one country
All countries - if more than one country is affected.

you can make 4 drop down lists or you can put all this in one list.
