Multiple Criterias when creating filters for a view

Hello all,

We are in the process of creating a view, and the issue becomes when I tried to setup multiple criterias of the same field, it creates an "and" function search rather than an "or" search. I have a requirement in doing this as we will search on multiple keywords, and since we are limited to 40 characters, we need to enter a second criteria. Any information will be greatly appreicated.

Re: Multiple Criterias when creating filters for a view

Hi,

4.5 SP15 - For a single field I can use the operator "Contains (OR)" and specify the entries with semicolons and it looks OK. I think this might have come in a service pack post 11?

However it is still not possible to join two separate criterion (different fields) with an OR. I think 5 and 4.5 SP18 might have this??

Hi,

it is as David has said above. I take it you don't have a third party reporting tool?
