Modifying a Change Phase

How do I modify a phase to skip to another phase when a button is checked on the change?

Re: Modifying a Change Phase

Hi Eddie,

When you say phase, are you talking about Change Status?

You can use UI or DB rules to interact with several fields within the Change after a button is checked on a (Change) Form.

For example:
When a value has changed
where button (*) equals YES
Change Status Phase (Update Data) Status set to new_status

Re: Modifying a Change Phase

Thank you for the reply but a change phase differs from a change status. A phase can be a group of repeatable steps. Such as a assessment of a change. A phase of a change can determine the behavior of a change, forms needed for change & task records, alerts, etc. Whereas a change status describes the condition of the change or task in the current phase (ie: pending, hold, closed, etc.).
