Migrating from sp13 to sp17

Hi,

I am currently using SD 4.5 sp13.However I want to migrate to sp17.

Can anyone post me the authorised link to get the dump of sp17?

Also If anyone of you have been using sp17, kindly share the cons and prons that I may get after migration.

Thanks & Regards,
Akhil

Hi Gyula,

Thanks for the reply..But what I am looking for are the bugs that I may face after switching to sp17..Currently I am into a production environment so I do'nt want to take chance for it.

Re: Migrating from sp13 to sp17

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me what steps I should follow before migrating from sp13 to sp17?

Any backup? any db rule export?

Re: Migrating from sp13 to sp17

Thanks Vassili,

Do I need to take db rule backup separately than the whole sd backup?

What else I need to do?

Re: Migrating from sp13 to sp17

I have recently upgraded to SP17 from SP12, all went fine with the exception of the attachments.

Upgrading from SP15 (or earlier) to SP16 (or higher) must migrate existing attachment folder structure.

Attached you will find the doc with the steps to do so, you can also find this information in the doc folder, name: itsm007474 within your download.
