This looks like an absolute new, but I hope someone knows a solution to it.
I have SD 4.5, Service Pack 10. Mailserver is IronPort. Working very smoothly for quiet some time now.
Without any change on the Service Desk, or on Mailserver, suddenly the outgoing mails to external domains stopped. The trial mail throws up the attached error. The first error is on the client installed on the Server Machine (Win 2k3 Server). The second is on a client installed on my laptop (Win 2k Adv Server).
There is no error in logserver.txt for this trial mail throwing up an error.
The error log in logserver.txt is following for an auto-mail that should've gone properly:
Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:14 Started parsing E-mail Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:14 Access denied: smtp://127.0.0.1:2017 Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:14 Ended parsing duration: 0 ms Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:35 Started parsing E-mail Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:35 Access denied: smtp://127.0.0.1:2018 Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:35 Ended parsing duration: 0 ms Tue, 04/04/2006 07:56:37 From: firstname.lastname@example.org fromAlias: Microland RMC Helpdesk reply to: email@example.com to: firstname.lastname@example.org cc: null bcc: null subject: Service Call SC-MLCIS-3100 body: Hi ,

I did a telnet into the mailserver from SD server machine and tried to send a mail manually. That went through. The mails being sent through the application are not working...
The error in the Ironport logs says : (For trial message tried from my Machine's Administrator Console)
