MTTR using OVSD 4.5

is there a way to create a work order view of MTTR? any suggestions on this area?

Hi,

you have to capture the start time and the resolve time (note: this maybe different to the time that the ticket is closed on).

The start time is simple = the registration created time
The resolve time can be got by someone setting the workorder to a particular "resolved" status and the registration modified time being written to a custom field using a UI rule.

This gives you the MMTR start and end dates.

DOES OVSD take the workgroup working schedule into consideration? or does it use a 24 hour standard clock?

hello
yes it should take it into consideration as long as you assigned to the workgroup the work scheduale you want, but I think in this case if you used a custom time field it may not work as you liked, but for other built in times I guess it will take into consoderation the working hours.

thanks
