Logfile logserver.txt

Hi

I am monitoring the mentioned log file and it seems to log everything, not only SD errors (java errors, etc) but also logg auditing of rules, etc.

Where can I find exactly what is written there and if there are other logs? I will also need to know where to change what is logged there

Thanks

Re: Logfile logserver.txt

Hi Saxo,

what SP are you on?

Go to Admin Console-System Panel-General
Uncheck the "Rule Manager" checkbox if you have it

Re: Logfile logserver.txt

Hi,

you shoul dnot have to restart the application services. However if the updates are still being written to the log file it might be advisable to stop and restart the application services one at a time to be sure.

Re: Logfile logserver.txt

How about errors? (java errors specifically) where can I tune what to log and what not to?

thanks again for your assistance

Re: Logfile logserver.txt

Hi,

You can prevent auto email details from being written to the log file by un-checking the parameter in:

Admin Console --> System Panel --> Email then un-tick the box marked "E-mail Debug (more Detailed Entries In Log File)"

As far as I know that's the only part of the log file you can switch off.
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
