Limiting one user to login multiple times

Hi -
I would like to know if there is a way we can limit/force one user from logging in multiple times. Currently I can launch and get connected as many times as I want from my local mahine and every time there is a conncetion it uses a license.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Limiting one user to login multiple times

Mahmood,

I believe that there is a limit to the number of times that a single account can log in simultaneously - at least, a named account. I think the maximum is around 8-10. But I suppose you want to limit it to 1 session at a time.

I do not know of an answer.

Re: Limiting one user to login multiple times

Josh -
Thanks for the response - we would like to limit one user to 1 session. As a user is logging multiple time just creates a bottle-neck.
Just wondering - if I can schedule a task and drop the connections if there are more than one entry for a user ?

Thanks
