Limit access to 'view only' for a field in Service Desk 4.5

In Service Desk 4.5, I have one field on a form that needs to be limited to 'view' access for every role except the change manager role. I know how to go into the role and change it from 'write' to 'view' but isn't there an easier way than by going into every role and changing it? We have many roles and it seems like there should be a global way to limit access to the field.

Hi,

by design the fields are enabled as "Write". there is no other way rather to enable/disable manually.
