Limit Field Value Range by Relations to a more then one value?

Hi,

We would like to restrict the service call classifications based a service attribute. For example if the service are is "messaging" , then only show the classifications in the messaging classification tree.

We created a generic relation type of service to service call classifications, but it only allows us to select one classification per "relations for this type". If we want to show multiple classifications (for example a whole tree) we need to add an additional "relations for this type". This could up to 50 or so.

Is there another way? Does it make more sense to create UI rule for each service where we want to limit classifications OR 1 UI rule with a generic relation type that has many "relations for this type"

Thanks

To limit the UI rules the idea is to use 1 UI rule with a generic relation type that has many "relations for this type".

Hello Tulio,

In case of Service to Service Call Classification maybe it would be handy to use Generic Relation Groups.

We also faced the same challenge, to relate services to service call classifications. But since similar services tend to have similar classifications, instead of linking each service to classifications we linked services to service groups (generic relation group) and service group to service call classifications.

Much work is also required but much less than linking each service to classifications.
