Knowledge Management for ESS

Using ServiceCenter 6.2, I was trying knowledge management from ESS. It shows no result for the keyword I enter. However, using the same keyword, I got a lot of related documents from the Web GUI. The search is limited on the Knowledge_library only. Is there anything I need to do to enable knowledge management for ESS?
