Re: Java Virtual Machine Error after HP Service Desk Installation

Hi,

If you are talking about client, it needs Microsoft Java Virtual machine, and will not work with Sun's versions. You can install Microsoft JVM from service desk cd.

hi!

Java VM is a MUST and you can find that in the SD Installion CD itself.

Pls install it and let us know what happes.

Re: Java Virtual Machine Error after HP Service Desk Installation

requiring MS Java VM is crazy, there is no support for that in a couple of years. When will SD client be made to work with Sun Java versions?

Re: Java Virtual Machine Error after HP Service Desk Installation

David,

since service pack 23 there is a separate SD client that runs over SUN java.

FYI, yesterday service pack 32 was released, so you can see this SD java SUN client is been around for a long time now
