Information/history update issue in a service call

Hi,
2 page information is already updated in a service call , call is still pending and now it is not allowing to write anything more in information of this call.Is there some limitations ,if yes how to increase its size.

sure I will, but have to go at customer site will take time.
see when we open a service call on SD admin console, we can update its history information right, if we want to update it again we can. how much text we can update in information ; are there limitations.

The information field is 4000 charcters and so if not enough, add another history line

Hi,

Size of Information field being a system field can not be increased.

It has 4000 characters limit.

Hi Ruth,
Thanks for reply; I resolved that issue by adding Information 64K field on service page form,
Before when help desk assigns a call to a person he was getting â Information â details also in mail
example:
Description: test call
Deadline:
Assignment Status: New
From person:
From workgroup:
Information from sender:
Reference #:
Information: working on it.

But now where should I make changes so a person can get new custom filed details.
