Incident view

Hi all,

In Incident Item users can view or modify to only those incidents which are assigned to them or there workgroup as per setting in role.

Is there any way so that view and modify assess right can be provided for those incidents assigned to another particular workgroup.

Hi Manoj,

The administrator can give access rights to view, create, modify , delete and so on ... for one , a group or everyone ... Pls take a look at the attached image. This shows the Detail Item Access and the options to set.

Thanks for your response. i was looking for some other way because from here user will get right to modify each n every incident assigned to any workgroup. i want to restrict for a particular workgroup.

Hi,

There's no way to do this unless you assign the other workgroup to the user's person record. Then select the 'modify - When assigned to user's workgroup' option within details.

Hi,

this doesn't solve your problem but helps somewhat.

Set auditing for the fields. At least you can see in the history who has changed what and when.
