Inbound Email Problem

I believe it's simple, but I'm unable to fix it.
If user sends email with empty Subject ServiceDesk Reports:
The E-mail you sent has not resulted in the registration or update of a Service Call.
-
The following error(s) occurred:
---------------------------------------------------
For service call the following fields are required:

description.

Althogh Inbound email call template contains description "This call come via email"

Is there any way to fix it?

Re: Inbound Email Problem

Hi there,

As far as I know, you cannot get round it in SD but can your email system trap it and add a subject before sending on to SD?

Re: Inbound Email Problem

Hi Alexey,
I am not an Exchange expert so I do not know if it is possible to there but if it is not you could alter the text of the email that sent by SD provided you are on a version of SD which lets you edit this. Go to Email settings in system admin and then look at the email templates tab.

Then you could add some thing which says:
if the email you sent did not have a subject, please put one in and sent the message again

Hope this helps, Ruth
