How to use ID for current service call?

Hello,

I need to open another service call form from opened form to print limited number of fields.
How can I use ID for current service call in an sd_dataform action?

Re: How to use ID for current service call?

Pavel,

By specifying the form and the id of the service call, you guarantee that sd_dataform will find your item and display it in a form.

You parameters will be " ID=[ID]".

I think that is all you need.

Can you shoe me how to do this in a smart action?
What is your process?

Re: How to use ID for current service call?

For a Smart Action, you need to create an Application, which runs nothing other than sd_dataform.bat.

Then you create a Smart Action, which calls that application, and passes as parameters information such as the params described above.

Don't forget to give roles the rights to use that smart action.

Duh,

"formname" "ID=[ID]"
This works.
