How to update a lot of selected DB Rules

I need to update all blocked DB Rules: change their category to BLOCKED. I don`t want to really delete them. There are about 100-150 rules to update, each update is very slow.

How can I:
1) select all DB rules I need to update?
2) update their category?

Re: How to update a lot of selected DB Rules

Hi,

You can do a 'multiple update' and update all rules at a time.

Select the 100 Rules u want to modify,(Shift key + left click ) and then right click, select update all. Set the category and click ok.

Thats all. Your 100 Rules are updated in single shot.

izad, can you attach a screenshot with 2 DB rules selected? Any 2 rules.
This method works with ServiceCalls for example, but doesn`t work with DB Rules.

Re: How to update a lot of selected DB Rules

Hello,

Unfortunately you have to do it by hand. Since db rule category is stored on the encoded string that represents a rule, you don't even have the option of massive update through sql.

It can be done programmaticaly but in the time you need to decompile some jars, understand the structure etc etc, you could make the change by hand.
