How to relate two incident tickets?

Hi,
In HP OV servicedesk, we have an option to relate incident to a change, problem and service call.

Can any one please suggest me how to relate an incident to another incident.

Please see the attachment, when i goto relate option in incident.

Hello Kumar,

Besides generic relations (SP17) on SD 4.5 you cannot relate an incident to another incident.

Is this based on ITIL process or any specific reason is there for this?

Please let me know about the same?

is this possible in OV SD 5.1?

Hi Kumar,

it is based on ITIL / ITSM principals. However it is available in ver 5.1 (due to customer demand I think). I know that there could e exceptions but iIthink it is better to relate the incidents to a problem record and let the problem record be the master recor etc.
