How to relate multiple CIs with Multiple CIs

I am using SD 4.5 SP19
I need to do many-to-many CI relationship, i.e., Relate CI A to CI 1 and 2, relate CI B to CI 1 and 2 etc...

I have created a CI_RELATION mapping for the same.

Everything works fine for the first relationship, i.e., I can relate CI A to CI 1 but when I try to relate CI B with CI 1, CI 1 un-relates from CI A and then relates with CI B.

Please let me know how I could do it.
Thx

Hello,

In your import mapping, have you define that both fields that are used as CI identifier have "This field is used for key binding" set ?

Hi
I have defined only the "REL_TO" field as "This field is used for Key binding". Do i have to do it for both fields ?

Hello,

From the "relation" perspective, you have to define two fields as unique.

Re: How to relate multiple CIs with Multiple CIs

marking both fields unique allowed me to create multiple relationships witout destroying the old ones. Thanks
