How to force "purge cache on exit" SD 4.5 SP20

Can someone provide me with a solution to this?
I have been playing with the /purgecache in the sd_client.ini file but I am not sure if this would work.
What is your process?

Tools->Options->Advanced->Purge Cache on exit checkbox in client

Or u have to edit with hex editor user.dat file in
c:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\Service Desk\

if u need info how to do that, let me know

Thank you for your reply.
What I am looking for is a way to have this set for all current accounts and and all new accounts by default.
What is your process?

this setting resides on the client machine - not in the database, so you'll need to modify the file on each client.

for example if you use Active Directory, it can be done using logon scripts... but it's a subject to discuss

Yes, just mandatory put preconfigured user.dat using logon script/
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
