Dear Friends,
My requirement for SD console users is that they should be able to see "Problem" workspace under Service Desk work group.
Pls see the enclosed.

Re: How to add workspace Problem in Service Desk work group

Hi there,

You need to make Problem workspace available to their role: go to the Workspaces tab on the relevant roles and check the box Problem under Service Desk.

The users will need to log off and back on again for this to take effect.

Hope thsi helps, Ruth

Re: How to add workspace Problem in Service Desk work group

Hi there,

Does the role also have other ights to problem? For example, I think you must have at least one problem view associated with the role for it to display the problem workspace.

Please post details of ALL rights for problems if this does not help,

Re: How to add workspace Problem in Service Desk work group

Hi Fayaz,

Could you check whether the role has a View for a problem configured: selsct problem on a role then press Advanced and look at the view tab and check there is at least 1 view linked.

This is because SD will not show a workgroup unless there a view to display the results in.

Re: How to add workspace Problem in Service Desk work group

Thanks Ruth,
I got the idea from ur reply, I create a new Role
e.g, allow Problem to view these users
Then I take the require parameters, like Problem,Advance and Relate the require things.then Enable required Accounts and enable required workspace . finally it work.
Thanks once again for you creative ideas.
