Hi,

This should be fairly simple.

Open the Administrator Console (Tools --> System).
Navigate to Presentation --> Forms.
Select the required item, the form of which needs to be customized.
Open the default form (double click on the form name in the list).
This will open the form as well as the available attributes dialog (another small window). Select the attribute you want to add to the form, in the attribute list. Drag and drop it on the lcoation where you want it to be displayed, on the form.
Save and close the form.

Hi there,

First you must define a custom field. Start the system admin console then go to Data>Custom Fields>Item type.

Scroll down the list of custom fields till you find one of the type you want (text, number, code etc) and name it as you want and check the Activate box.

Now when you go to Presentation>Forms >Item type and open the form you want, your new field should be there.

If you would like screen shots please say which version (4.5 or 5).
